The Unity Labour Party Manifesto 2015

The ULP government has performed well since March 2001. St. Vincent and the Grenadines is a far better place in which to live today than in 2001. We have made remarkable progress in all developmental indices despite the awesome challenges which have confronted us particularly those related to small size; limited material resources; the ill-winds of globalisation; the global economic recession of 2008, and continuing; and several natural disasters. That St. Vincent and the Grenadines has survived and thrived in these difficult circumstances is a tribute to our people’s creativity and resilience, the quality of leadership of the ULP government, and our regional/international solidarity.
Going forward, the ULP has offered a compelling vision, practical policies and programmes to lift our country to a much higher level. We have an excellent track record of performances; we can be trusted; we deliver on our promises. We combine the faith, derived from our belief in Almighty God, and the blessings of our reasoning faculties, to perform mighty works, ennobling deeds, together as a people.
We present for these general elections a Quality Team of Candidates led by a tried and tested leader who commands very high regional and international respect and affection. We have a full agenda for the next five years. We promise to deliver a fuller harvest. Greater rewards are at hand for the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. We must not turn back; we have come too far in progress; we pray that the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, acting through the spirit of our Heavenly Father, will not allow us to leave behind any unfinished task!
