  • Introduced generous incentives to taxi-drivers and tour bus operators to allow for fleet upgrade and expansion 
  • Launched Sailing Week in the Grenadines to build upon or position as the region’s leading yacht destination 
  • Supported multiple festivals, including CannaBliss, ItalFest and Emancipation Cricket Festival 
  • Enhanced the capacity of the SVG Tourism Authority to promote Destination SVG & negotiate with Airlines 
  • Welcomed Air Canada, American Airlines, Caribbean Airlines, Delta, JetBlue, and Virgin Atlantic to the Argyle International Airport 
  • Provided fiscal incentives and duty waivers to importers of taxis, tour buses, yachts and power boats 
  • Partnered with private investors for the creation of the world-class Canouan Marina 
  • Developed a partnership with Sandals Resorts to train Vincentian hospitality workers in other islands, and provide formal hospitality education at Sandals University 
  • Built, opened and operated the Holiday Inn Express and Suites at Diamond 
  • Established and expanded a Tourism Police Unit, and improved harbour patrols to enhance safety of yacht tourists.
