  • Rehabilitated Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, including the Female Wards, Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Wing, the Operating Theaters, and Kitchen 
  • Commenced construction of the Arnos Vale Acute Care Hospital 
  • Rebuilt Mental Health Centre in Glen 
  • Built modern polyclinics at Stubbs, Mesopotamia and Buccament 
  • Rebuilt the rural Hospitals at Georgetown, Chateaubelair, Mesopotamia, and Union Island as PAHO designed Smart Hospitals 
  • Purchased a Medivac vessel to expedite patient transport from the Grenadines 
  • Introduced, CT Scanners, Fluoroscopy machines and MRI Machines to improve diagnostic care H Installed a hyperbaric chamber to treat burn patients and divers with “the bends” 
  • Built the Modern Medical and Diagnostic Complex (MMDC) at Georgetown 
  • Partnered with the World Pediatric Project, to make SVG a centre for Pediatric care in the OECS 
  • Eliminated mother-to-child transmission of HIV 
  • Built a temporary elder care facility and demolished the antiquated Louis Punnet Home for the elderly, while completing designs for a modern permanent replacement facility 
  • Began construction of clinics at Belair, Byrea & Enhams
  • Collaborated with Cuba and Venezuela to implement the hugely successful “Vision Now” Eye Programme 
  • Completed designs for Calliaqua Polyclinic 
  • Published a patient’s Bill of Rights to establish expectations and standards for patient care 
  • Introduced chemotherapy and dialysis care in SVG 
  • Radically improved access to clean water, indoor sanitation and garbage collection across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 
  • Enhanced hugely the delivery of safe, quality water at low prices; and ensured that garbage is collected and properly disposed of nation-wide
