- Constructed the Montreal Greenhouse Park, to radically improve yields for vegetable farmers
- Developed the Medicinal Cannabis Industry, establishing dozens of licenced producers (including local and traditional producers) and contributing millions to the local economy
- Provided massive fiscal incentives to farmers and fishers, including no personal or corporate tax on farmers’ incomes; tax concessions on farm vehicles; and subsidies on inputs;
- Incentivized the establishment of private sector seafood processing facilities, to create a large export market for local fishers
- Banned the use of the pesticide glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, Touchdown and Glyphos, to protect the health of farmers and consumers
- Provided over millions in income supports to farmers over the course of the COVID pandemic, the La Soufreiere eruptions and Hurricane Beryl
- Implemented a $27 million programme of production supports and inputs in 2024-25 to improve livestock quality, fish landings, greenhouse production, and farming implements
- Commenced construction of Modern Arrowroot Factory, to improve the phytosanitary quality of arrowroot starch production and improve the export value of our arrowroot products
- Began rehabilitation and expansion of fisheries centres at Chateaubelair, Owia, ETC
- Developed the “Love Box” initiative – a regional model for disaster response, where the Government buys produce directly from farmers impacted by disasters and distributes them to vulnerable populations that have also been affected
- Became the first new country of origin for specialty coffee in decades
- Supported private sector in the production of cocoa and chocolate in SVG, leading to the establishment of two major chocolate producers
- Established all-time highs in the export of livestock
- Achieved self-sufficiency in the production of eggs and pork
- Began construction of the Blackfish processing facility in Layou
- Secured affordable fertilizer through Morocco and Venezuela for distribution to farmers
- Established the Fleet Expansion Programme to assist fishers with the purchase of boats and engines
